In brief: Monthly inflation up in Chile

*Chile’s national statistics institute (INE) has announced that monthly inflation in November was 0.3%, up from zero inflation in October. This brought the annual inflation rate to 3.4%, unchanging from October but down from 4.4% in September. The steepest monthly price rises were in the categories of clothing and shoes (+2.6%), information and communication (+0.9%), healthcare (+0.7%), transport (+0.7%), and restaurants and accommodation (+0.7%).
