In brief: Inflation falls in Colombia

*Colombia’s national statistics department (Dane) has published the latest consumer price index, putting monthly inflation in November at 0.07% – down from 0.18% in October. This brought year-on-year inflation in November to 5.30%, down from 5.51% the previous month. The categories which saw the steepest monthly price rises in November were healthcare (+0.71%) and alcohol and tobacco (+0.44%), while prices fell for food and non-alcoholic drinks (-0.72%), recreation and culture (-0.48%), and shoes and clothing (-0.02%).
