CHILE: Migration set to play a key role in electoral showdown

Will it be Kast or will it be Jara, the two presidential hopefuls who are battling to win the second-round ballot in the presidential elections due on 14 December? The vast majority of analysts are backing the former, the far-right José Antonio Kast, who they see as defeating the leftist Jeannette Jara, currently running 12-16 percentage points behind in the opinion polls.
