Venezuela, whose already tense relationship with Washington has plumbed new depths amid a US military build-up in the Caribbean since August. Whilst Trump says that he is taking necessary action to stem the flow of drug shipments from Venezuela, Maduro claims that the US is preparing to overthrow his government by force, as we discuss in the first article.
