In brief: Colombia’s July industrial production rises in annual terms

*Colombia’s national statistics department (Dane) has announced that industrial production increased by 2.9% in July, compared with the same month in 2024. These increases were partially offset by an 8.0% drop in mining and quarrying. Over the first seven months of 2025, industrial production declined by 0.2%, while in the 12-month period ending in July industrial production was down by 1.0% compared with the previous 12-month period.
