In brief: Tourism to Cuba continues to fall
*Cuba’s national statistics institute (Onei) has reported that 1.12m international tourists visited the country in the first seven months of 2025, just 76.8% of the number registered in the same period in 2024. According to the same report, most international tourists came from Canada (478,388), followed by the category of Cubans living abroad (141,046), the US (77,253), Russia (71,797), Mexico (33,093), and Argentina (30,120), among other countries.
