Grenadian opposition demands ouster of prime minister on corruption charges

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is mounting a campaign to demand the resignation of prime minister Keith Mitchell, after a financial newsletter accused him of having received US$500,000 from a former German diplomat now in prison in Singapore. Mitchell has admitted receiving a much smaller sum, purportedly to finance a promotional trip to Europe.
