PARAGUAY: Peña paints positive picture
Paraguay’s President Santiago Peña delivered an upbeat state-of-the-nation address to congress, held annually on 1 July, with the conclusion of the second year of his term fast approaching on 15 August. Peña admitted there was still a lot to be done, especially with regard to healthcare, but emphasised his government’s economic achievements and foreign policy successes.
