BRAZIL | Coffee exports down. The national council of coffee exporters (Cecafé) released its latest monthly report on 12 May, which showed that national exports totalled 3.09m sacks of coffee (one sack = 60kg) in April. This marks a 27.7% decrease from the 4.28m sacks exported in April last year. Arabica coffee exports in April stood at 2.68m sacks, down 17.4% year-on-year, while robusta exports came to 103,577 sacks, down 84.9% compared with the same month last year.
