EL SALVADOR/VENEZUELA: Bukele offers Venezuela prisoner swap
On 20 April El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele offered to exchange 252 Venezuelan migrants deported from the US to El Salvador, where they are being held at the Centro de Confinamiento del Terrorismo (Cecot) mega-prison, in exchange for the same number of political prisoners held in Venezuela.
