COSTA RICA: Gov’t moving on El Salvador-inspired jail

On 9 April Costa Rica’s justice minister, Gerald Campos Valverde, was widely cited by the local media as saying that recent agreements with the Salvadorean government led by authoritarian President Nayib Bukele could save Costa Rica US$25m in the construction of a new prison.
