MEXICO: Progress in ranch investigation marred

Mexico’s public security minister, Omar García Harfuch, announced a key arrest in relation to a major case on 24 March. He stated that authorities had detained an individual suspected of being responsible for a cartel training centre at Rancho Izaguirre in Teuchitlán, Jalisco state, which has gained notoriety in recent weeks after being discovered by a local search collective earlier this month [WR-25-10].
