Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has slowly been making changes to his cabinet, replacing his communications secretary and health minister [

. The next substitution in the line-up is the position of institutional relations minister, a role held by Alexandre Padilha until he was rotated to health minister. Given that the institutional relations minister will be responsible for negotiations with centrist and conservative parties in congress, there had been some speculation in the local media that Lula might appoint a member of one of these parties.
