PARAGUAY-BRAZIL: Peña hails ‘win-win’ relationship with Brazil

Paraguay’s President Santiago Peña and senior officials from the Brazilian government, such as Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira, attended the two-day Expo Paraguay-Brasil 2024 business conference in Luque, in the Asunción metropolitan region, last week. In addition to highlighting the importance of bilateral economic interests, the Peña administration has also signalled alignment with some of Brazil’s foreign policy objectives likely to be on the agenda when it hosts the G20 leaders’ summit in Rio de Janeiro.
