Aeroméxico agrees salary increase with pilots’ union. On 2 November Mexico’s umbrella pilots’ union Asociación Sindical de Pilotos Aviadores de México (Aspa) announced that it had reached an agreement with the country’s flagship airline Aeroméxico. In a statement, Aspa stated that Aeroméxico pilots had voted by 876 votes in favour to 477 against to accept the deal from the airline, which equates to a 20% pay increase between benefits and direct salary raises and will be applied retroactively from 1 October.
