Members of Mexico’s national guard (GN) opened fire on vehicles in Baja California state, close to the border with the US, on 2 November. Two Colombian migrants were killed, and a further four injured. The incident comes almost exactly a month after the GN opened fire on a pick-up truck in the southernmost state of Chiapas, close to the border with Guatemala, killing six migrants.
