It is too early to judge the Sheinbaum presidency, which at the time of writing has been less than a month in power. But it is clear that perhaps five or six big building blocks will help shape the new administration. They include macro-economic and fiscal management, cartel violence, government communication strategy, the energy transition, and poverty alleviation. Uncertainty over the US elections, the future of USMCA, and US-China tensions also form part of the mix. Sheinbaum’s decisions over the next few months will cast more light on the fate of the 4
