Uruguayans head to the polls on 27 October to cast their ballots in presidential and congressional elections. Final polls suggest that by far the most likely scenario is that Yamandú Orsi, the candidate of the left-wing opposition coalition Frente Amplio (FA), will progress to a second-round showdown with Álvaro Delgado of the Partido Nacional (PN, Blancos) on 24 November.
