*Argentina’s Foreign Minister Diana Mondino has met with her Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar in New Delhi, India, to discuss bilateral trade and investment. On social media, Mondino said it was the first time that the Indian foreign minister had received Argentina business representatives, stating that topics of discussion had included biotechnology, mining, energy, agroindustry, medicines, and nuclear technology. Jaishankar said the meeting with Argentina business and industry leaders had been “fruitful”, highlighting discussions on the energy transition, minerals, health, agricultural technology, defence, and general technology. Mondino also met with India’s Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri to discuss ways of boosting energy collaboration between companies from India and Argentina in areas of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and rare earth minerals.
