BRAZIL: Inquest begins over plane crash

A plane bound for the São Paulo Guarulhos airport on 9 August crashed in the town of Vinhedo, São Paulo state, killing all 58 passengers and four crew members. The crash marks the worst aviation disaster on Brazilian soil since 2007. Authorities have begun investigating the incident, while debates in the media have raised a range of potential causes including human error and mechanical faults.
