*Bolivia’s national statistics institute (INE) has released its latest consumer price index, showing annual inflation of 2.98% in July. This was up from 2.49% in June. Monthly inflation in July was 0.47%, down from 0.54% in June. The steepest monthly price rises were in the categories of transport (+2.07%), communications (+0.91%), and furniture and household goods and services (+0.78%). Prices fell in the categories of education (-0.03%) and alcohol and tobacco (-0.07%).
