Arce facing fresh wave of protests in Bolivia

Following the 26 June military uprising, Bolivia’s President Luis Arce received a month-long reprieve from protests over fuel shortages. But, with the government’s critics claiming the insurrection was staged by Arce in order to boost his popularity and distract from those same protests, it was only a matter of time before the disruptive demonstrations resumed.
