Argentina’s President Javier Milei scored a major victory with the approval in late June of his ‘omnibus bill’ and fiscal reform by the lower chamber of congress. The two pieces of legislation give him a host of powers to downsize and deregulate the Argentine state, while streamlining the country’s unwieldy tax system.
