*Nicaragua’s government led by President Daniel Ortega has announced that the finance ministry and Saudi Fund for Development, a Saudi Arabian government agency, have signed a US$103m loan for the construction and equipment of a new hospital in the indigenous North Atlantic autonomous region (Raan). According to a report by state mouthpiece el19digital, the hospital will cover the municipalities of Rosita, Bonanza, Mulukukú, Paiwas, and the surrounding indigenous comarcas (indigenous administrative regions). The announcement was made following a visit to Nicaragua by executive director of the Saudi Fund for Development Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad.
