*Chile’s central bank (BCCh) has announced that the country registered a trade surplus of US$1.87bn in April, up from US$873m in April 2023. Exports in April 2024 totalled US$8.41bn, up from US$7.31bn in April 2023. Imports totalled US$6.54bn, up from US$6.44bn in April 2023.
