*Mexico’s national statistics institute (Inegi) has announced that economic activity increased by 1.4% in February compared with the previous month. In year-on-year terms, economic activity was up by 2.6%. The monthly increase was driven by a 16.5% increase in economic activity in the agricultural sector, while the services sector increased by 1.2% and the manufacturing sector decreased by 0.1%. All three categories experienced growth in annual terms, with the agricultural sector up by 5.8%, the services sector up by 3.2%, and the manufacturing sector up by 1.5%.
