PERU: Seventh pension withdrawal approved but wider reform still needed
In a session on 11 April Peru’s congress approved legislation allowing approximately US$7bn in private pension fund withdrawals but rejected a separate proposal for pension reform presented by the largest party in the legislature, the right-wing Fuerza Popular (FP) party.
