BRAZIL | Central bank raises growth forecast. The monetary policy committee (Copom) of Brazil’s central bank (BCB) released the latest edition of its quarterly Relatório de Inflação report on 28 March, which includes various economic projections. In this March edition, Copom raised its annual GDP growth forecast for 2024 to 1.9%, up from 1.7% in the previous edition.
