VENEZUELA: PUD manages to register a candidate
On 26 March Venezuela’s opposition coalition Plataforma Unitaria Democrática (PUD) announced that it had been able to register Edmundo González as its presidential candidate in the 28 July election, after being unable to register Corina Yoris – herself a replacement for the disqualified María Corina Machado.
