VENEZUELA: Candidates begin to register amid opposition uncertainty
On 21 March two Venezuelan opposition figures registered their candidacies for the 28 July presidential election ahead of the 25 March deadline imposed by the national electoral council (CNE), amid continued uncertainty over who will represent the main opposition coalition Plataforma Unitaria Democrática (PUD).
