*Argentina’s national statistics institute (Indec) has reported that in November the monthly index of economic activity (Emae) decreased by 1.4% as compared to the previous month and was down 0.9% year-on-year. In year-on-year terms, growth was registered in nine sectors including the exploitation of mining & quarries (+6.7%) and hotels & restaurants (+3.8%). Indec highlighted the manufacturing industry (which posted a 4.8% year-on-year) – one of six sectors to register a year-on-year decline - as the sector to have had the biggest impact in the fall in Emae.
