LatinNews White Paper: Transparency, the Port of La Unión, and Discomfort Over China’s Advance in El Salvador

El Salvador's February 2019 presidential election will take place amidst a growing and improving relationship with the People’s Republic of China (PRC); indeed, China is increasing its influence across the region. It is a relationship that promises much to the people of El Salvador, but it is not without its controversies. Our guest author, R. Evan Ellis, Latin America research professor with the US Army War College Strategic Studies Institute, explores the situation in El Salvador in our latest White Paper. Sign up below to receive a download link for this important paper.
