*Chile’s central bank (BCCh) has released its monthly index of economic activity (Imacec) for November, which shows a year-on-year increase of 1.2% and a monthly rise of 0.3%. Accumulated economic activity in the 12 months until November was up 1.3% on the previous 12-month period. The latest Imacec figures show year-on-year growth in every sector except trade (-1.4%). Manufacturing registered yearly growth of 6.4%, mining was up 2.7% year-on-year, and services grew by 1.2%. The drop in trade was driven by slumps in retail sales and vehicle sales.
