* Colombia’s national statistics department (Dane) has released the latest employment figures, putting the unemployment rate in September at 9.3%. This was down from 10.7% in September 2022 and showed no change from August 2023. The underemployment rate in September was 8.4%, down from 8.7% in September 2022, while the informality rate was 56.1%, down 2.6 percentage points year-on-year.
