BRAZIL: Congress laments hindrances in 8 January inquiry
On 3 October the joint committee of inquiry (CPMI) in Brazil’s congress investigating anti-democratic acts questioned Argino Bedin, a businessman suspected of financing the right-wing rioters who stormed the seats of government in the capital on 8 January. Bedin maintained his right to remain silent during the deposition.
