HAITI: UN approves international security mission to Haiti
On 2 October the United Nations (UN) Security Council (UNSC) authorised the deployment to Haiti of a multinational security support (MSS) mission, to be led by Kenya, to support Haiti’s national police (PNd’H) in quelling gang violence and restoring security.
