CUBA: Embassy attack stokes tensions

An attack on the Cuban embassy in Washington DC, in which a man reportedly threw two Molotov cocktails at the building, is serving as a new source of tensions between Havana and Washington. No-one was injured and no significant damage was reported, but the incident comes amid strained bilateral relations following reports of a Chinese spying facility in Cuba [WR-23-24] and as the Cuban government boosts cooperation with both China and Russia [WR-23-21].
