UN PROJECT TO IMPROVE EARLY WARNING SYSTEMS COMPLETED. The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) reported on 7 August the completion of a US$6.5m project to better prepare members of the Caribbean Community (Caricom) for hurricanes and other hazards.
