MEXICO | Electoral institute requests 2024 budget. On 14 August Mexico’s national electoral institute (INE) announced that it would ask for a budget of M$23.76bn (US$1.39bn) for the organisation of the 2024 electoral process, which includes the presidential election, as well as congressional elections and the election of eight state governors plus the mayor of Mexico City (CDMX).
