* Colombia’s national statistics department (Dane) has released the latest figures on industrial production, which fell by 2.1% year-on-year in June. Manufacturing was down by 4.8%, while water capture, treatment and distribution was up by 2.0%, electricity and gas provision was up by 3.7%, and mining and quarrying was up by 2.9%. Categories which saw large decreases in production included wood products (-28.8%), vehicles and trailers (-24.6%), and other transport vehicles (-32.8%).
