* Argentina’s national statistics institute (Indec) has released its figures on industrial manufacturing and construction in June 2023, which showed that both indices were down year-on-year and in monthly terms. In year-on-year terms, the industrial manufacturing index had decreased by 2.3% while that of the construction industry was down by 2.8%. In monthly terms the industrial manufacturing index was down by 1.3% while the construction index was down by 1.5%. In the first six months of the year, the industrial manufacturing index was up 1.3% whereas the construction index was down by 2.1%, compared to the same period in 2022.
