PANAMA: Gov’t and indigenous groups strike deal to end unrest

On 8 August Panama’s government led by President Laurentino Cortizo reached an agreement with indigenous groups from the Ngäbe Buglé comarca (indigenous administrative region) to end protests which saw the blockading of the Inter-American highway.
