VENEZUELA: Supreme court fires Red Cross president
On 4 August Venezuela’s supreme court (TSJ) ordered an intervention in the Venezuelan branch of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), firing its president Mario Enrique Villarroel in what some NGOs have denounced as political interference.
