* Ecuador’s state oil company Petroecuador has announced that it will hold a tender process to select a private contractor to carry out projects at its Amistad offshore natural gas field (Block 6), which lies in the Gulf of Guayaquil. According to a Petroecuador statement, the contract will involve drilling wells, as well as building and expanding production facilities.
