The dispute between Mexico’s government led by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and Grupo México, one of the country’s largest conglomerates, appears to have been resolved - for now. Following the dramatic seizure of a section of railway operated by Grupo México subsidiary Ferrosur on 19 May [WR-23-21], the government and the conglomerate have struck an agreement that appears acceptable to both sides.
