* Colombia’s national statistics department has released the latest consumer price index, putting monthly inflation in May at 0.43% and annual inflation at 12.36%. This was down from monthly inflation of 0.78% in April, when annual inflation was 12.82%. The largest year-on-year price increases in May were for restaurants and hotels (+18.01%), transport (+17.82%), and food and non-alcoholic drinks (+15.66%).
