BRAZIL | Increased sugar cane production. The Companhia Nacional do Abastecimento (Conab), the logistics arm of Brazil’s agrarian development ministry, announced on 20 April that the production of sugar cane from the 2022/23 harvest was estimated at 610.1m tonnes (t), up 5.4% from the previous harvest cycle.
