* Argentina’s national statistics institute (Indec) has released new figures showing that 1.09m international tourists visited Argentina in February 2023, up 331.4% on February 2022. This brings the total number of tourists to visit the country in the first two months of the year to 2.25m, up 354.8% on the same period of 2022. In February 2023, the largest number of tourists came from Brazil (406,900), followed by Uruguay (237,800), Chile (164,700), and Paraguay (110,400).
