Bolivia’s President Luis Arce and Vice President David Choquehuanca gathered in the Plaza Murillo, outside the seat of government in La Paz, on 18 October to celebrate the second anniversary of their electoral victory with supporters of the ruling left-wing Movimiento al Socialismo (MAS). They did so against a stormy backdrop.
