Reuters yesterday which claimed that US oil giant Chevron is preparing to take operational control of its joint ventures in Venezuela if the US lifts sanctions. Chevron holds a shared stake in four Venezuelan oil projects, alongside Venezuela’s state-owned oil company Petróleos de Venezuela (Pdvsa).
